Hotly tipped producer and DJ Kareem Ali puts his spin on Wayward's Ridge Road with two pulsating remixes.

2021 saw the release of Wayward’s debut album ‘Waiting For The World’ on Silver Bear Recordings. A leap in artistry, the album showcases what Louis Greenwood and Lawrence Hayes are capable of when calling upon intimate memories and feelings, with a diverse body of work that mixes mellowed electronica with breaks, DnB, jungle and techno. The album received high praise across the musical landscape. Mixmag named lead track ‘All A Bit Mad’ one of the best tracks of the year so far, Boiler Room and Resident Advisor both supported the videos attached to the campaign and Juno Download named it album of the week. They were also invited to curate mixes for Mixmag lab, Apple Music One Series and Rinse FM and received radio support from the likes of Mary Anne Hobbs, Gilles Peterson, Lauren Laverne, Jaguar and Tom Ravenscroft to name a few.

Over the past year, Kareem has captured the attention of Pitchfork, Bandcamp Daily and Rolling Stone who named his G R O W T H LP one of the best albums of 2020. Other artists have also taken notice, as his tracks have been played and charted by the likes of Four Tet, Pete Tong and Bicep, whilst Caribou tapped Ali to feature on his Suddenly remix package.
